The pediatric applications program adapts the Barral method to newborns, infants and children. You will study embryological development and developmental milestones, learn pediatric-specific evaluation and palpation, and apply treatment protocols for common pediatric conditions including infant colic, reflux, constipation, feeding difficulties and post-trauma sequelae. The program emphasizes how early therapy on newborns and infants can dramatically reduce the percentage of functional problems later in life. Courses include supervised practice with real infants and children and strategies for parent education.
