Our European Center

Madrid

Ten days of training. A city you will remember.

Our training center in Madrid is the European home of the Barral Method. We welcome students from across Europe and beyond, in courses taught in English and Spanish by internationally certified Barral Institute instructors. For many of our students, the training week in Madrid is not only a professional milestone — it is one of the most memorable experiences of their careers.

Why Madrid?

Courses in English and Spanish

Every core course is taught in both languages. You can follow the instructor in English or Spanish, work with colleagues from multiple countries, and take your clinical reasoning home in the language you think in.

Direct flights from every European capital

Madrid-Barajas is one of Europe’s busiest airports. Direct flights from Paris, Berlin, Rome, Amsterdam, London, Lisbon, Vienna, Warsaw, Stockholm — often under three hours. For most European students, the travel is easier and cheaper than going to the other side of their own country.

300 days of sun a year

Madrid has one of the best climates in Europe. After intensive training days, you can enjoy the Retiro Park, the Prado Museum, the tapas bars of La Latina and a city that never stops. Many of our students extend their stay for a weekend — and some come back every year.

A bridge to the Spanish-speaking world

Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world by native speakers. Training in Madrid connects you to a global community of practitioners from Spain and Latin America — and opens doors to teaching, collaboration and continuing education across two continents.

A clinical city

Madrid is home to a dense network of hospitals, physiotherapy and osteopathy clinics, research centers and professional associations. Our students often take the opportunity to visit local practices, meet Spanish colleagues and expand their professional network.
