New Manual Articular Approach — Upper Extremity

Treat upper-body joints as complex interconnected systems, not isolated structures.

A radical re-thinking of joint treatment — nerves, arteries, meniscus, ligaments, capsule, emotions and visceral connections, all at once.

MAUE (formerly Global Joint Treatment) re-thinks how joints should be treated. Every major joint of the upper extremity is examined as a complex system: the nerves that innervate it, the arteries that feed it, the meniscus and ligaments that stabilize it, the capsular folds that contain it, and the emotional and visceral links that modulate its function. You will learn to evaluate and treat each joint for its primary dysfunction — whether that dysfunction originates anatomically, physiologically or even emotionally — addressing pain, sprains, arthrosis and inflammation with a precision that single-system approaches simply cannot match.

What you will learn

  • Assess each joint through nerves, vessels, ligaments, capsule and viscera
  • Evaluate major upper extremity joints for their primary dysfunction
  • Recognize how joint dysfunction cascades through related body systems
  • Treat pain, sprains, arthrosis and inflammation with an integrated approach
