VM2 4 days

Visceral Manipulation 2 — Abdomen 2

Deeper abdominal structures and their connections to the cranial and thoracic cavities.

Build on VM1 to reach the deeper abdominal structures — kidneys, pancreas, spleen — and the suspensory systems that link them to the rest of the body.

VM2 deepens your anatomical knowledge and technical skill in the abdominal cavity. You will expand the hand placements and long-lever techniques you learned in VM1 to include the kidneys, pancreas, spleen, greater omentum and peritoneum. The course explores the principles of restriction planes, mobility and motility, and how the abdominal cavity communicates with the cranial and thoracic cavities through fascial continuity. Supervised hands-on sessions guide you through specific techniques for locating and evaluating each organ, with attention to clinical effects and contraindications.

What you will learn

  • Deepen anatomical and technical work on kidneys, pancreas, spleen and omentum
  • Understand restriction planes, mobility and motility
  • Integrate long-lever techniques into clinical practice
  • Recognize abdomen–thorax–cranium fascial connections
