Visceral Manipulation 5 — Manual Thermal Evaluation & VisceroEmotional Relationships

Detect dysfunction through thermal sensitivity and address the emotional components stored in the organs.

The final core VM level — thermal evaluation off the body, visceroemotional release, and the art of differentiating structure from emotion in your clinical reasoning.

VM5 integrates two of Jean-Pierre Barral’s most original contributions. Manual Thermal Evaluation is an assessment method that detects bodily dysfunction through temperature sensitivity — Barral developed an infrared thermal mapping system that validated, scientifically, what skilled hands had been perceiving for decades. You will learn off-body scanning to locate dysfunctions quickly before touching the patient. The second part of the course, Visceral Emotional Listening, addresses the emotions stored in organs and plexi that compromise healing capacity. As Barral puts it: "Our history is our history — what we can do is discharge a little something so the body compensates better." You will learn precision techniques to release restricted emotional energy and determine the percentage of emotional vs. structural involvement in each presentation.

What you will learn

  • Apply Manual Thermal Evaluation to assess organ dysfunction without direct contact
  • Distinguish structural vs. emotional components in the patient presentation
  • Identify where emotions are stored in specific organs and plexi
  • Learn precise techniques to discharge restricted emotional energy
